Luiz Carlos Trabuco Cappi, the man behind Banco Bradesco’s vast triumphs, is a powerhouse in the banking realm. Both unassuming and abundantly wise, Cappi’s business acumen led him far in the industry. In fact, as a prominent member of one of the largest banks in Brazil, Cappi quickly gained considerable clout in his domain. Banco Bradesco, the banking service Cappi has dutifully served for over 40 years, launched in 1943. Before Cappi embarked on what would soon become an illustrious career, he pursued higher education from the University of Sao Paulo. After earning that feather in his cap, Cappi obtained a postgraduate degree from the School of Sociology and Politics of Sao Paulo. In 2009, Cappi’s wildest dreams came to fruition when Banco Bradesco promoted him to Chief Executive Officer. It was under this role where Cappi gained widespread exposure and recognition.
