A spot in the final is assured as the two Malaysian pairs have been drawn to play each other at the Istora Senayan in Jakarta tomorrow.

Wei Chong-Kai Wun booked their berth first after defeating compatriots Yap Roy King-Wan Arif Wan Junaidi 21-15, 21-15 in 32 minutes.

Later, world No 5 pair Aaron-Wooi Yik faced stiff resistance before overcoming the eighth-ranked South Koreans Kang Min Hyuk-Kim Won Ho 21-19, 21-15 in 40 minutes.
