Tottenham's young goalkeeper felt the full force of Alan Shearer's reproach after his mistake saw Aston Villa go 1-0 up in the first minute.
Villa got off to a lightning-fast start in the fourth round FA Cup tie when Jacob Ramsey blasted an effort goalwards from around 15 yards away.
His shot was straight at Kinsky but the ball managed to bounce through the goalkeeper's hands after 57 seconds.
Shearer did not let the 21-year-old off the hook on BBC co-commentary, branding it a 'howler' and claiming he 'had to do better'.
'What on earth is he doing?' the former striker asked.
In fairness to Kinsky, he did make a number of important saves in the first half, including from Leon Bailey and Morgan Rogers.
Most Spurs fans would say Kinsky has stepped in reasonably well after signing to cover for the injury of Guglielmo Vicario.
Drafted in from Slavia Prague, the Czech star had a memorable debut against Liverpool, making six saves against the league leaders in a 1-0 Carabao Cup win in early January.
But like his Spurs team-mates, he has had some difficult matches, as he did in the reverse semi-final leg against Liverpool, which Ange Postecoglou's side lost 4-0.
More to follow.
