DAVID CLIFFORD SUPPORTED BY STYLISH PARTNER SHAUNA AS HE MAKES HISTORY AT ALL-STARS

It's not quite a three-peat for David Clifford, but it's still quite the history-making feat for the Kerry man.

The 26-year-old was named Footballer of the Year at the 2025 PwC GAA All-Star Awards on Friday, becoming the first player to hold the coveted title three times (2022, 2023).

He's in good company at the top, as Dublin's Brian Fenton and Meath's Trevor Giles are the only other multiple winners of the award.

David was proudly supported on the night by his longtime partner, Shauna O'Connor, with whom he shares a four-year-old son named Ógie.

For mam and dad's big night out, Shauna looked incredible in a plunging, corseted copper floor-length gown, while her beau scrubbed up well in a black tux and bowtie.

Shauna has been by David's side through thick and thin, having been together nearly a decade, so we've no doubt that she was bursting with pride at the RDS Arena while watching her man accept his award.

David was also lucky to have his brother, best pal, and teammate, Paudie Clifford, in attendance at the awards ceremony to cheer him on.

The Kerry man scrubbed up equally well, matching his younger brother in a black tux and a bowtie. His partner, Orla O'Mahoney, looked fantastic in a chocolate brown number.

The floor-length gown was strapless, its corset embellished with sequins and beading, while its skirt boasted a cool wrap detailing.

She carried a gold clutch and swept her blonde locks back off her face into a low ponytail.

GAA CEO Tom Parsons said: 'David Clifford creates a piece of history tonight as he is named PwC GAA-GPA Footballer of the Year for the third time.

'It is recognition of his consistent excellence and who’s to say there won’t be more in the future.'

Elsewhere, Tipperary's John McGrath won Hurler of the Year. Mr Parsons explained: 'He reminds us of that vital attribute that elite players require – resilience.

'He left indifferent form and injury in recent seasons behind and catapulted himself to the top, becoming the best of the best in 2025.'
