Alejandro Garnacho is part of Manchester United's travelling squad for their game against Fulham, amid speculation over his future.
Garnacho, 20, has made 119 appearances for United since making his debut as a 17-year-old in 2022.
However, the Argentine winger could be on the move this month, with Chelsea and Napoli linked with the 20-year-old.
Mail Sport reported on Thursday that Chelsea are putting forward a formal offer for Garnacho and have a clear run at signing him with Napoli switching their attention to Borussia Dortmund star Karim Adeyemi after making bids varying from £45million to £50m for the United winger.
That comes after Enzo Maresca's side made their opening enquiries last week, with United valuing the former Atletico Madrid youngster at around £65m.
Garnacho's agents Carlos Cambeiro and Quique de Lucas were even spotted at Chelsea's game against Wolves on Monday and are believed to be open to their client making the move to London.
United boss Ruben Amorim then added fuel to the fire this week when he refused to rule out selling Garnacho.
Nevertheless, the 20-year-old has travelled down to London with Amorim's squad for their Premier League clash at Fulham on Sunday night.
Garnacho, who has eight goals and five assists across 33 games in all competitions this season, is expected to be involved in the game at Craven Cottage, which kicks off at 7pm.
Speaking after their 2-1 victory over Rangers on Thursday, where Garnacho played the full 90 minutes and was serenaded by fans throughout, Amorim opened up on the situation.
'I don't know what will happen,' he said. 'Let's focus on the team and the players that we have here.
'We don't know what can happen until the window closes. Anything can happen. I'm focused on the games and he's here, he's a player for Manchester United. He was really important for us today and let's see in the next days.
'I think he's improving in every aspect of the game. He was better today playing inside, also outside, changing positions, he's improving the recovering position.'
The Portuguese coach continued: 'You can see it until 90 minutes he's always there recovering and helping, sometimes showing some frustration and that is good because he wants more.
'I think he has potential to be so much better in every situation in the game. What I can say is he understood what I was trying to do, was really clear, I just want to help them but in the end it's them that do the job.'
As he qualifies as homegrown, Garnacho's sale would give United clear profit and greater room for manoeuvre under PSR guidelines, especially as they face the prospect of not qualifying for the Champions League, this summer.
Meanwhile, despite the Garnacho links, Chelsea boss Maresca played down the speculation when he spoke ahead of their trip to Man City, insisting he is satisfied with his squad.
'I'm happy with the ones (wingers) we have in this moment,' he said. 'I have said many times, on the right side is Pedro (Neto) and Noni (Madueke) and on the left side is Jadon (Sancho).
'Misha (Mudryk) was with us but now he is not with us, Tyrique (George) is a young profile that can help us. In this moment, we are okay.'
