Fans on social media poked fun at Canada's gymnastics team after noticing what the tracksuits they wore appeared to resemble.
Canada qualified for the men's artistic team all-around event at the 2024 games thanks to their seventh-placed finish at the 2023 World Championships.
The team consisting of Rene Cournoyer, William Emard, Zachary Clay, Felix Dolci and Samuel Zakutney travelled to Paris looking to secure the country's first ever Olympic medal in the event.
After qualifying for the final from their heat, Canada ultimately finished eighth with a total score of 245.426 as Japan claimed gold in the event.
Despite managing to reach the final, reaction on social media was instead placed firmly on the athletes' choice of attire prior to the competition.
Produced by American-Canadian athletic retailer Lululemon Athletica, the Canadian team's tracksuits bore a striking resemblance to Canadian bacon.
One fan wrote: 'We don't call it Canadian bacon for nothin'
Another joked: 'I may never forgive Lululemon for this.'
A third added: 'Team Canada looks delicious'
While Canada were not able to secure a medal in the men's artistic team all-around event the country have already secured an impressive medal haul in Paris.
Christa Deguchi became the country's first gold medal-winning judoka while Ethan Katzberg claimed top spot in the men's hammer throw.
Meanwhile prodigious talent Summer McIntosh fulfilled her immense potential in swimming, with the 17-year-old becoming the first Canadian ever to win three golds in a single games.
