EURO 2024 TOP SCORERS: GEORGES MIKAUTADZE WINNING RACE FOR GOLDEN BOOT

The race for the Golden Boot at Euro 2024 is hotting up after Georgia’s Georges Mikautadze took his tally up to three.

The Metz striker’s penalty in their shock win over Portugal puts him ahead of a clutch of players on two goals.

Cody Gakpo’s fifth tournament goal in five starts for the Dutch, and he joined Germany pair Jamal Musiala and Niclas Fullkrug, Slovakia’s Ivan Schranz.

Marin added his name to the leading pack, scoring in Romania’s draw with Slovakia as they progressed into the last-16.

In total, almost 60 players have all scored once now, including England duo Harry Kane and Jude Bellingham, with multiple own goals making headlines during the group stage.
