EX-EAGLES STAR DEFENDS MICAH PARSONS AMID TEAMMATE FEUD

It's difficult to imagine the Philadelphia Eagles and Dallas Cowboys getting along on any common ground, but one former Eagle is siding with a current Cowboys star amid teammate-related drama.

During his podcast, former Eagles defensive lineman Chris Long stood up for All-Pro edge rusher Micah Parsons and his show, which he hosted during the season.

To the contention that a podcast is getting in the way of Dallas’ success, just from the outside looking in, I don’t think that’s the case," Long said on "Green Light."

"I don’t think Micah Parsons’ podcast lost that Green Bay game,” he said, referring to the playoff loss that ended Dallas' season.

Long went on to say that Parsons' podcast should be a non-issue in the locker room, and that players should have more important things to worry about.

“Unless that podcast is being used to disrespect people on the team, divide people on the team, throw coaches under the bus. That sort of thing. I just don’t see Micah Parsons’ podcast doing that," Long stressed.

His comments come after Cowboys safety Malik Hooker mentioned Parsons' podcast in an interview with Keyshawn Johnson.

"My advice for Micah would be just make sure we're alright and being where you're feet are," Hooker said on "All Facts No Brakes."

"Because if we're at work and, you know, the run game's terrible but you're doing a podcast every week and you know the run game is terrible then what are you really caring about?

Are you caring about the crowd that was watching the podcast or are you caring about the success of our team and the Super Bowl that we're trying to reach?"

Parsons responded in a since-deleted social media post, wondering why Hooker didn't address his issue with him directly.

The two-time All-Pro also said that he shoots the podcasts on his day off, specifically so that it doesn't interfere with football.

We'll see if Parsons' podcast becomes even more of a talking point in and around the Cowboys this season.
