Lionel Messi has broken his silence on Argentina's highly-chaotic Olympic soccer loss to Morocco on Wednesday.

Argentina equalized the game in the 106th minute of the match, and had appeared to secure a 2-2 draw as both teams left the pitch following a fan invasion.

However, the match was actually suspended - not finished - with players eventually recalled to complete the game more than an hour later, and Argentina's would-be equalizer chalked off for offsides by VAR.

Argentina were unable to salvage another goal during the restart, leading to a 2-1 loss and an angry message from Messi - who is not playing in the tournament.

'Insolito,' he wrote on his Instagram story, which means 'unbelievable.'
