MAXWELL RILEY, NO. 9 OFFENSIVE TACKLE RECRUIT, NAMES TOP 7 SCHOOLS

Maxwell Riley, a four-star recruit from the class of 2026, revealed seven finalists for his commitment.

The 6-foot-5, 263-pound offensive tackle from Avon Lake, Ohio, announced his list of schools on Tuesday. Riley narrowed down his choices to Alabama, Clemson, Florida State, Michigan State, Missouri, Ohio State, and Oklahoma.

Per the 247Sports composite, Riley is the No. 9 offensive tackle and No. 57 overall recruit from his class. He also received offers from schools such as Florida, Michigan, Penn State, and Tennessee.

In March, Ohio State insider Bill Kurelic predicted that Riley would stay close to home and play for the Buckeyes. He'd give Ryan Day another top 2026 recruit alongside five-star wide receiver Chris Henry Jr.

On3 projects an 88.4 percent chance of Riley choosing Ohio State. Each at 1.7 percent, Florida State and Clemson are his only other finalists above 1.0.

Riley discussed Dabo Swinney's team after visiting Clemson earlier this month.

"I think they do things a lot differently from what most schools consider to be normal," Riley told Tiger Net's Grayson Mann last week. "I don't think there's anything wrong with it. Coach Swinney and his program have had a lot of success."

Regardless of his choice, Riley looks poised to join a blue-blood football program in two years.
