ZAKIYAH JOHNSON, NO. 4 RECRUIT IN COUNTRY, IS DOWN TO SIX SCHOOLS

One of the top women's basketball recruits in the nation has reportedly narrowed her options down to six schools.

Per Talia Goodman of On3.com, five-star guard ZaKiyah Johnson, the No. 4 player in the class of 2025, will only consider the South Carolina Gamecocks, LSU Tigers, Louisville Cardinals, Kentucky Wildcats, USC Trojans and Notre Dame Fighting Irish.

The Shelbyville, KY native plans to schedule official visits to the respective colleges during football season as she weighs her future.

"I'm looking for diversity on a campus, just so I can branch out and meet new people," Johnson told the publication. "I also really pay attention to dorms and dorm living."

"Then it's just looking at the team, kind of reading them and seeing how their relationships are. Are they close or is it kind of fake? I look for little things," ZaKiyah continued. "The majority of [these schools] are in the city area, so that's really what I like. NIL also plays a big part in it."

Johnson has said she's felt the love from all of the universities on her list so it will probably be a tough decision narrowing things down further.

The Sacred Heart Academy star was named MaxPreps' High School Girls Basketball Player of the Year last season after leading her school to its fourth straight state title.
