Matildas fans slogged through a tough 90 minutes after waking up early to watch their team's miserable Olympic Games defeat by Germany.
A whole host of supporters rose to their alarm clocks at 3am to tune into Australia's opening Group B match in Marseille, with Tony Gustavsson's side taking on a tough challenge in their world No 4-ranked rivals.
And the Matildas proved no match for the Germans, who ran out comfortable 3-0 winners to leave the Aussies' Olympic campaign already hanging in the balance at this early stage.
Fans were far from impressed with the pitiful performance in France, taking to Reddit to express their concerns for the team.
'Ahhhh Tillies this is hard to watch at 4.30am,' said one fan as the third goal went in.
Another said: 'Not exactly what you hope for when you get up at 3am to watch.'
'This is rough for 4.30am,' said a third fan.
Other fans highlighted a lack of energy from the World Cup semi-finalists, an uncharacteristic trait from Gustavsson's side.
'Matildas are so unfit it's not even funny anymore,' said one fan.
Another added: 'This is the worst I've seen them play in a long while.'
