NFL STAR DAVID BAKHTIARI NOT THRILLED WITH LEAGUE'S RULE CHANGE

On Friday afternoon, the NFL announced that it has adjusted its rules regarding the use of Guardian Caps. Players can now wear them in regular-season games.

"We now have two years of data showing significant concussion reductions among players who wear Guardian Caps during practice, so players will be permitted to wear the cap during games this upcoming season," NFL executive vice president Jeff Miller said. "Additionally, there are new helmets this year that provide as much - if not more - protection than a different helmet model paired with a Guardian Cap. These developments represent substantial progress in our efforts to make the game safer for players."

Judging by his recent social media activity, former Green Bay Packers offensive tackle David Bakhtiari isn't a huge fan of this decision.

Right after this move was announced, Bakhtiari hopped on X to share his thoughts.

"NFL will do anything else to not change the field surfaces," Bakhtiari wrote

Bakhtiari, a three-time Pro Bowler, has missed a plethora of games over the past four seasons. We can't blame him for being frustrated.

On the other hand, the NFL shouldn't be criticized for trying to limit the amount of concussions its players suffer each year.
